Data Protection – Privacy Notice (Customer)   

Dessian Products Limited (“we”, “us”) is committed to the fair and proper processing of all personal data held about customers.  

The lawful bases for processing customer personal data are as follows:

(i) Contractual necessity for the supply of goods and services; and 

(ii) Consent for marketing purposes to customers.  

Data will be retained no longer than is necessary for the specified purpose or purposes.  

We, or our appointed representatives, may use a customers’ personal data in the following ways:

  • to provide the products, services and/or information that the customer has requested from us;
  • to send the customer important safety information;
  • to provide the customer with information about other products and services that the company believes may be of interest to the customer where the customer has consented to us contacting the customer by their preferred method of contact for these purposes;
  • to prevent and detect fraud and money laundering;
  • to collect debts owed by the customer to us; and
  • for customer analysis, profiling and research purposes.

We may share customers’ personal data in the following ways:

  • with a purchaser of our business;
  • with any third party to whom we assign our rights under any agreement we have with the customer to enable them to exercise those rights;
  • where we are required to disclose information for legal or regulatory purposes; and
  • in connection with legal proceedings or in the course of exercising our legal rights.

The customer has rights in relation to the customer’s personal data held by us, including:

  • the right to ask us not to process the customer’s personal data for marketing purposes;
  • the right to access information held about the Customer;
  • the right to have inaccuracies corrected; and
  • the right to complain about the manner in which we handle their data.

To exercise either of these rights, the Customer must write to Dessian Products Limited at 9 Apollo Road, Adelaide Industrial Estate, Belfast BT12 6HP or email with the subject “Privacy”.
